Christmas was such a challenge to get this just right, all things considered with the dress being much larger than what Aki usually wears, and having to change a few things on the reference sheet. (i.e. the ears). We really wanted to make something that gave the "ginger bread" house vibe.

My favorite detail is actually the fact her ear is chomped off, I think it really sells it as her outfit being a piece of ginger bread, or some kind of gummy. Christmas to me is gotta have sweets and treats, and I really wanted the outfit to resemble that feel. The coziness of it all by making it feel very cheerful with vibrant greens and reds I wanna say makes the outfit stand out amongst the rest of the designs I have. Regardless, still one of my favorites to date and gives me such warm feelings when I see it.
